Established in 1987 by Mr. Choopong Choopojcharoen, Bar B Q Plaza revolutionized the dining scene by introducing a distinctive self-grilling experience, blending Mongolian and Japanese barbecue traditions. With a commitment to premium ingredients, exceptional flavors, and interactive dining, Bar B Q Plaza quickly became a household name. Its first outlet at Central Plaza Ladprao, Thailand, set the foundation for a decades-long legacy, driving consistent expansion across the country in alignment with Thailand’s growing retail sector.

As a pioneering force in the Asian barbecue industry, Bar B Q Plaza expanded internationally, entering Malaysia in 2005 through a strategic joint venture with W.A Food Holdings Sdn. Bhd. This marked a new chapter in its growth, ensuring Malaysian diners could experience the brand’s signature high-quality meats, fresh vegetables, and proprietary dipping sauces. The first Malaysian branch opened at 1Utama Shopping Centre, reinforcing the company’s dedication to culinary excellence and long-term industry leadership.
